We urge faculty to recommend students for the The Executive Leadership Council's 2008 Business Case Competition Baruch has been chosen as one of 39 schools to participate in this case competition titled, “Shell Lubricants and Jiffy Lube: Managing the Portfolio” which is being sponsored by Shell. The case is open to African-American MBA students and multi-racial teams (predominantly African-American) of up to five students. There is no limit on the number of individuals or teams that can apply from each school. The application deadline is Tuesday December 11TH, 2007 at 6PM (EST). The case will be available by JANUARY 14th, Submissions are due by FEBRUARY 8TH, Cash prizes of $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams, or individuals, respectively. The three finalist teams will receive crystal trophies for their schools, and finalists’ hotel and travel expenses to the March finals in Houston will be paid by the sponsors. Faculty are invited to meet new students during the Spring New Student Orientation. International Orientation (International Students only) Thursday, January 10, 2008; 2:00 – 5:30 PM; NVC Flex-Time MBA & MS Orientation (All new graduate students) Thursday, January 10, 2008; 5:30 – 9:00 PM; NVC Flex-Time MBA & MS Orientation (All new graduate students) Saturday, January 12, 2008; 9:00 – 5:00 PM; NVC Faculty are invited to our MBA and MS Prospective Student Open House to be held Monday, December 3rd.
