More On Sir Isaac Newton Newton’s Laws of Motion

Newton’s First Law Every body persists in its state of being at rest or of moving uniformly, except insofar as it is compelled to change its state by a force impressed. Cars are really Newtonian objects!

Newton’s Second Law Any change in motion is always proportional to, and in the same direction as, the force applied. F = ma (Force is equal to mass times acceleration)

Newton’s Third Law For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction The Earth attracts the stone and the stone attracts the Earth right back!
