Crime is behavior that breaks those rules of a society which are codified in the criminal law. Some changes of crime can be found in Britain nowadays. Most of the crimes committed in Britain(90%) are crimes against property.

Offences recorded(1971&1999) England and Wales (2000) Violence against the person, from 47 to 231 Sexual offences, from 24 to 35 Burglary, from 452 to 952 Robbery, from 8 to 66 Drugs trafficking, from 0 to 21

The most frequently crimes in China Mainland of China (2002) 1.Rape 2. Robbery 3. Theft 4. Assault and fighting

offenders in UK and China (in UK)80% are male. The worst offenders are young males aged , with 648 offenders per 10,000population. (in China)70% are youth, and most of them are aged 16—18.

Causes of Crime??? (U.K.) 1. Lack of discipline by parents (about 75%) 2. Drugs (about 72%) 3. Alcohol and too lenient sentencing (about 62%) 4. Unemployment (61%) 5. Lack of discipline at school (51%) 6. Poverty (40%)

Juvenile Delinquency in China 1. different from the other regions of the world; 2. delinquents as being less educated and less intelligent than normal youth; 3. “cult of brotherhood”; 4. poor parental supervision and erratic child-rearing behavior are the main causes. 5. parent training might reduce their children’s offending.
