So you wanna be part of SSSC? Here’s how: 1.First Year Residence Representative -Applications should be available -See your Residence Council/Soph 2.First Year Student Caucus Representative -Applications will be available to pick up Wednesday September 21st outside of SSSC office or online -They will be due into the office, Wednesday September 28th -You will find out by the end of the week
3. Upper years can apply to be a Department Representative: - Sociology Representative - Geography Representative - First Nations Representative - Women’s Studies Representative Applications will be out October 12th Applications will be due October 19th (our SSSC meeting) You will be invited to attend out meeting, Wednesday October 19th at 5:30 where elections will take place!
4. Commissioner Positions (anyone can apply) Secretary Internet Commissioner Applications will be available Wednesday September 21st outside of the SSSC office or online Applications will be due into the office, Wednesday September 28th Interviews will be held Thursday September 29th 5-7pm in the SSSC Office Room 1124

Sent out packages to all incoming first year social science students welcoming them into our faculty Included a letter from myself on behalf of SSSC, a letter from the faculty and a Social Science Koozie
Created a chalkboard A frame for promotional use throughout the year Working on scheduling meetings with the Dean as well as Sarah Dawson, Career Counselling New cashbox for council New safe coming soon
Working on… In the process of creating code of conduct for all of council, including Executives. Will be working on this with Scott Courtice, Senior Manager of Government Services/Relations Release of Information Forms
