Questions about your medicines (QAM) November 2000 The 5 Key Q uestions 4 What does this medicine do ? 4 How and when do I use it ? 4 For how long do I have to use it ? 4 May I drive when I take this medicine ? 4 What side effects or risks should I know about this medicine, and what do I do when they occur ?

Urging all commercial companies to structure their communication to the patient based on these 5 questions Displaying posters and providing relevant literature Pharmacists will contribute to the development of these 5 questions :
