Nick Hadley CMS Slice Test and the LPC Cosmic Slice test = Magnet Test/Cosmic Challenge Plan: Use cosmic slice test to advance goal of ensuring that US based physicists can contribute to detector commissioning and do competitive physics analyses without having to live at CERN Coordinators: Yurii Maravin (KSU) and Nick Hadley

Nick Hadley Cosmic Slice test and the LPC Magnet Test/Cosmic Challenge now scheduled for April 2006 In reality, many tests. –Emu taking data now –Ecal also taking data –Hcal soon –Tracking… Goal: to get the data to Fnal and make it usable by having good documentation and have all the people talking to each other
