Group 2: Organization In establishing open access repositories, what organizational problems have been encountered? What would be the ideal distribution of tasks between the library, the IT department, the university press, and others?

Problems encountered within country: –France: CNRS: CCSD, then HAL vs. universities within the university organization: –one or many repositories? –started by faculties or by university? between library, IT, administration –overlapping of tasks, online CV’s –collaboration with IT dept crucial

University press Rome: UP only printing Helsinki: UP collaborates in printing the electronic theses
