Database examples ERIC (within FirstSearch collection) Web of Knowledge –Web of Science covers Arts and Humanities; Sciences; Social Sciences cited reference searching –searching for articles which have “cited” a particular article since it was published  tracking how research is being taken forward by other researchers –ISI Proceedings - conference proceedings online tutorials available
