First, students must understand the order of Seminar CE En 100A - Fall CE En 100 B – Winter CE En 200A – Fall CE En 200B – Winter CE En 300A – Fall CE En 300B – Winter CE En 400A – Fall CE En 400B – Winter DO NOT RETAKE ANY SEMINAR CLASS NUMBER UNLESS YOU DIDN’T PASS IT THE FIRST TIME!

Outside 423 CB there are two computers which allow you to create your CAEDM account. These computers will walk you through the necessary steps and at the end will give you the door code to the CAEDM computer lab as well as your CAEDM username and address. WRITE THESE THINGS DOWN!! Your CAEDM (et.) address is where the department will send all of our announcements, job openings, service hours, and internships. If you want you can have your et address forwarded to another address so you will receive all of your s in one place.

You receive one point for each CE Department seminar and College lecture series you attend (that means the entire class period). Please be present on time and remain seated until the end of all Seminar\College Programs. Our guest presenters deserve this courtesy. Please remain seated until appropriate appreciation has been expressed to guest speakers. All department seminars are in 377 CB and the college lectures are in 140 JSB.

Pick up this form from Tamera BEFORE going to see your faculty advisor. Have your advisor sign it at the end of the interview and then return the form to Tamera. If I do not receive the form, you do not receive the points. Must be done by: September 19, 2008

Chapter service and activity points are awarded on following basis. ~ One point for each hour you spend working on an ASCE Service project. ~One point for each activity you attend. To get the full points you can do one of the following options: 5 Service Hours 4 Service Hours & 1 Activity 3 Service Hours & 2 Activities You must do a minimum of 3 service hours! You will only be able to record your participation in service projects and activities that are listed in the online grade record. Sign up for activities, trips, & service at To keep from being caught between a rock and a hard place – get your hours done early!

If you miss one or two Department seminars or College Lectures you may make this up by earning extra service and/or activity points. A maximum of two make-up points may be earned. You may earn these points by: Attending an ASCE Central Utah Branch meeting. One point per meeting.ASCE Central Utah Branch Attend Student Chapter activities including field trips, socials, etc. One point per activity. Work extra hours on chapter service projects. One point per hour of service performed.

Be sure to read the announcement sheet. This gives information regarding service hours, scholarships, course changes, and any other information that the department or ASCE Officers want you to know.

Your grade sheet must be completely filled out by 11:59 p.m. on If you do not have the grade sheet completely filled out and you must make changes after the deadline, you will need to see the CE secretaries and your grade will drop half a letter. You will receive an E grade if the record is not completed by the time grades are posted. December 18,
