5 MPA Core 2006 Joan Bantz The Evergreen State College Teams are established to solve some problem or to accomplish some task - the basis of the team's mission and Charter. Guidelines for team behavior and decision-making are essential Each team member has a role and responsibility to play. These should be clearly documented and understood. Meetings are not an interruption of work, they are the team's work. Teams should take time out for periodic assessment towards their goals. There is no I in teams!
