Ruben Carcagno - 5/3/2005 Simcon 2.1 DESY FPGA SIMulator and CONtroller Overview

Ruben Carcagno - 5/3/2005 Simcon 2.1 First FPGA-based LLRF controller used at FNAL for a SCRF cavity –Developed at DESY and used in the single cavity “CHECHIA” horizontal test stand –One Simcon 2.1 system was delivered to FNAL in March 2005 and used already to run the A0 photoinjector 1.3 GHz TESLA Cavity –Includes a real-time cavity simulator with beam loading and mechanical detuning effects
