MoCRC Elevator Speech What you can say to someone about the CRC in a minute and a half!

What question about your employees keeps you up at night? How do we identify the Work Ready applicants we need? How do we shorten on-the-job training time and lower training costs? How do we reduce employee turnover? How do we develop our current employees for advancement?

These are critical questions for most businesses—and there’s been no easy way to determine the answer until now. Missouri’s Career Readiness Certificate is designed specifically to answer questions about a potential or current employee’s skills in three important areas: applied mathematics, reading for information, and locating information. These skills are required by more than 85% of jobs in the country.

Employers now have a clear, standardized tool to assess the skill level of potential and current employees. That means choosing the right person for the job just got easier. Employer Benefits:  Eliminate the guess work about core learning skills  Evaluate job applicant employability skills to match jobs;  Evaluate the skills of current employees;  Provide training needs focus to meet organizational goals

 Aid communication among employers, labor, educators and trainers.  And Finally - An approach that could meet EEOC guidelines
