Objectives To design and build an apparatus to test the hip and knee joints of children, ages 6 to 15, using an Isometric (static) test. Major sub-systems: –Frame –Transducer and Mounting System –Chair –Data Acquisition

Chair Adjustable up/down for any leg length –10” lift mechanism w/ swivel –5” lift, no swivel –Ratchet System Hand Rails and Back Rest –Stability Ratchet system for rails and seat lift
