SYSTEMS ESTABLISHED  Department Intranet  All schemes of work created on Intranet  All staff save created worksheets to relevant section on Intranet  PowerPoint used as vehicle for students to access whole schemes of work  School web site

SUCCESS CRITERIA  GCSE results (2004 – School 36% and department 61%, 2005 – School 33% department 53%).  10% less drop out of college students completing a GCSE course.  Confidence and skill acquisition of non-specialist teachers – Lesson Observations before: 20% poor, 60% satisfactory and 20% good now 60% satisfactory and 40% good.  Department audit –  Student evaluation –  Curriculum covered -

Where next?  All courses offered within the department to be delivered in this format.  All subjects within the school to adopt this format.  Enhance presentations through Flash multimedia program.  Set up Cluster website for Gravesham schools to share resources.  Interactive resource available on CD Rom.
