July 25, 2001© 2001 European Hobie Class Association Youth Hobie Development Squad Sailors attend a 1 day Youth Multihull Programme EHCA selects most talented and committed sailors for Hobie Development Squad Selected sailors are offered a 3-4 month Boat charter Deal with Hobie Selected sailors will attend training and event After 3 month Options: 1.To buy the boat, trailer trolley supplied as charter 2.To buy new boat from manufacturer 3.To buy second hand on the open market 4.Move out of catamaran sailing Carried out in their zone – dates and venues will be forwarded in time Overseen by EHCA Commitment Charter fee and deposit Own insurance for craft. Responsible for craft maintenance Commitment 4 training camps a year 4 regattas during period Continue Multihull training & Racing workings towards junior / youth squad selection
