CEGSA 2010 Blogs and wikis capturing creativity in diverse classrooms by Kate Tyrwhitt
It all started with blogging It started as a item of study for my Masters unit on ICT for Educators at Flinders University with Dr Trudy Sweeney. I studied Scottish blogs and used it as a PD reflection tool and later it grew into a planning and classroom teaching tool. A virtual classroom identity formed with the year 5&6 learners and later on the year 2/3KT became a public blog with the parents’ permission after trialling it for 6 months. 2/3KT children still post comments on the blog over 2 years on from when it was made.
