Pacific Center for Feminist Action Changing Today’s Perceptions of old attitudes

Mission Statement Pacific Center for Feminist Action is an organization of students dedicated to promoting feminist dialogue and action on campus. We promote women's empowerment through campaigns that are focused on changing societal misconceptions of feminism and the term feminist. We support political and economic equality of the sexes in the United States and worldwide. We oppose and work to end all forms of violence against women. The Pacific Center for Feminist Action promotes the equal rights of all people. Membership is open to anyone regardless of race, sex, or other affiliation.

Campaigns The "Many Faces of Feminism Campaign" integrates feminism into our everyday lives. The project is a poster series of Pacific men and women, in which each personally explains why he or she is a feminist. The posters visibly break down barriers between today's perception feminism and the movement, as students and faculty see their peers speak out as feminists.

Events: Past and Present Past: I Love Female Orgasm! Sexuality Education program about the "big O," the most popular topic sex educators Marshall Miller and Dorian Solot teach about! Topics ranged from multiple orgasms to that mysterious G- spot. Dorian and Marshall covered it all with lots of humor, plenty of honesty, and an underlying message of sexual health and women's empowerment. Faye Spanos Hall Monday, October 16th, 7:00pm Future: Women’s Leadership Conference March 3, 2007 This year’s theme is the Third Wave! Break out sessions will cover topics ranging from Raunch Culture, pay inequalities, reproductive health and more!

Grants! As a fledgling organization we have already done so much! We can do so much more with your help.
