Numerical Representation of Data Using more efficient ways to communicate.

Central tendency = average It represents the most probable prediction for the process/population. It defines the location of data distribution.

Statistical thinking VIII The average represents the most probable outcome. (Win your guess)

Variation Data spread (dispersion/variability) can be expressed by either range or standard deviation.

Statistical thinking IX Large variation (range or standard deviation) means less consistency in the process. In order to achieve high consistency in quality of service, our job is therefore to reduce range or standard deviation.
