Opportunities F.E. Martin Fell Senior Personal Tutor

Tutorial The Personal Tutor System has a vital role to play in enhancing students’ academic and personal development and is essential in ensuring students make the most of their time at the college. The role of the Senior Personal Tutor is essentially twofold: Academic development - To aid students to reflect on their skills and experience, inside and outside the curriculum, and use this to assist the learner to formulate action plans. Pastoral care - To provide students with a listening ear, give encouragement and support as well as to offer guidance and advice on the availability of appropriate support concerning study, financial and other matters offered by the college and other agencies, where these are affecting the student’s ability to complete their studies successfully.
