The Other Side Product Design Sketching Activity

Activity Objective In this exercise, you will get to develop literacy in reading and interpreting multi-view projection drawings

Projection : Axonometric For each set of the orthogonal drawings provided (e.g. front, side, top views), project its axonometric view Example:

Part I: Axonometric Try to project an axonometric view for each set of the orthogonal drawings below: Set 1Set 2Set 3 ? ? ?

Part I: Axonometric Answers: Set 1Set 2Set 3 ? ? ?

Part II: The Missing View Try to project the missing view of the object Construct axonometric view from 3 the orthographic projections Example:

Part II: The Missing View Now draw the missing orthographic view and then the axonometric view for each of the following: Set 1 Set 2 Set 3 Set 4

Part II: The Missing View Answers: Set 1 Set 2 Set 3 Set 4

The Other Side Draw the missing orthographic view and then the axonometric view for each of the following: Set 1Set 2Set 3

Part I: The Other Side Answers Set 1Set 2Set 3

Part III: The Wrong Combination Identify the set(s) of orthographic projections that is/are illogical or inconsistent: Set 1Set 2Set 3

Part III: The Wrong Combination Answers: Set 1Set 2Set 3
