THE CLASSICAL APPROACH The Classical Approach or The Scientific Rational Approach, is characterised by : 1.Organizations are rational entities 2.The design of organization 3.People are economic beings

Scientific Management Figures : Frederick Taylor Book : Principles of Scientific Management Core Elements : 1.The systematic collection of knowledge about the work process by managers 2.The reduction of workers discretion and control over what they do 3.The laying down of standard procedures and times for carrying out each job
