ComPod (update) Imperial College / IMS continue to win awards for the ComPod system. Food waste currently being produced at College has outstripped the 1.1 tonne per week capacity of the current machine. ComPod model being installed 28 th September 2011, providing a 2.0 tonne per week capacity. Compost being produced will exceed our grounds demand, we are considering a permit to allow distribution to staff & neighbours. Composting saves 489kg of CO 2 / tonne of waste compared with landfill

New ComPod installation
