How Did We Get Here? Week Four of a Month-Long Unit on Immigration in the U.S. Nora Steinman and Jessica Wagner

Objectives Students will recognize that their parents and themselves are a valued part of history. Students will investigate and assess why people continue to immigrate to the United States. Students will use logical-mathematical intelligence to apply mathematical and graphing skills to analyze immigration patterns.

Objectives Through meaningful hands-on experience, students will utilize their linguistic intelligence to further develop interpersonal communication skills and intrapersonal awareness by conducting oral interviews and creating a class newspaper.
