News From Your Neighbors Fort Hayes has had some volunteers to buy Christmas gifts for needy children and raised $89 in a fundraiser. College of the Ozarks has been busy helping out along highways picking up trash.
More News… Ferrum College has been organizing fundraisers for their travel to National Convention.
National Convention 2010 Sam Houston has been working very hard getting ready for National Convention. They are planning it around last year’s agenda with a lot of the same ideas. They are really excited to host it. Registration fees will be due by March 1 st. It will be held March 25-27, More information will be on it’s way soon.
Mid Year Meeting The National Council met on November 16 th via conference call to update and catch up on the past months business. Many things were clarified and decided at that time.
DTA National Treasurer Dr. Bruce Greene has decided not to seek reappointment and election as National Executive Treasurer. Consider this a call for interested applicants to send me their vita. The information will be sent to Mike Mullen, NACTA President, for appointment to the position.
