Blogs A blog is a web site, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. The blog is displayed in reverse- chronological order with the latest blog entry appearing first. An example of how a blog looks on a web page is displayed to the right.

Videos Videos on the internet are often found in digital format. Typically, videos on the internet show a clip or important segment of a particular event. News, sports, movie, television shows, and music videos are often the most popular videos on the internet. The most popular video hosting web page is youtube.com. Nearly 20,0000 videos get uploaded daily onto Youtube.

White Papers A white paper is an authoritative report or guide that often addresses problems and how to solve them. White papers are used to educate readers and help people make decisions. They are used in politics and business. They can also be a government report outlining policy. White papers can help people to make a wise investment. (Example above)

Downloads To download is to receive data to a local system from a remote system, such as a webserver, FTP server, mail server, or other similar systems. A download is any file that is offered for downloading or that has been downloaded. The word's primary usage comes in the form of a verb or downloading.

Reviews A review is an evaluation of a publication, such as a movie, video game, musical composition, book, or a piece of hardware like a car, appliance, or computer. In addition to a critical statement, the review's author may assign the work a rating to indicate its relative merit. Reviews are important if you are interested in buying one of the afore mentioned products. Knowing how reliable and useful the product is can sometimes save you from making a mistake before buying something that may not work properly.

Podcasts A podcast is a series of audio or video digital media files which are distributed over the Internet by syndicated download, through Web feeds, to portable media players and personal computers. Though the same content may also be made available by direct download or streaming, a podcast is distinguished from most other digital media formats by its ability to be syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically when new content is added. Podcasts are available for download through Apples’ itunes.

Webcasts A webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology. A webcast may either be distributed live or on demand. Essentially, webcasting is “broadcasting” over the Internet. The generally accepted use of the term webcast is the "transmission of linear audio or video content over the Internet".
