Provided $21.1 to $22.7 million of additional revenue for ITD and Local Highway Districts How did it accomplish this? 1.Eliminated the distribution of gas tax revenue from Parks and Recreation (3% gross receipts, Section , Idaho Code) 2.Eliminated the Idaho State Police from the Highway Distribution Account (5% from the Highway Distribution Account, Section , Idaho Code) 10/8/20102

Established a Legislative Task Force to find an ongoing, DEDICATED fund source to replace funds for the Department of Parks and Recreation and Idaho State Police Parks & Recreation requests $4,901,300 ISP requests $14,731,800 Total requested General Funds without additional legislative action is $19,633,100 10/8/20103

1. Delay implementation of H 376 until July 1, Gas Tax revenues be permanently reinstated to Parks & Recreation 3. That the Governor’s task force find an ongoing DEDICATED fund source for Idaho State Police When H 376 takes effect on July 1, 2011, ITD will get an additional $18.65 million based on latest revenue projections 10/8/20104
