The online Student IT Proficiency Test includes:  Basic operation of a computer system,  Using computer application software,  Computer ethics and copyrights,  Information security, and  Information literacy.

The combination of face-to-face and Web-based instruction allows reference librarians to conduct more in-depth information literacy courses. Foster collaboration between faculty and librarians:  Modifying the tutorial by adding sources and research steps pertaining to a particular discipline.  Incorporating the tutorial into the e-learning platform of general education courses and discipline-based courses.
