5 Basic Understanding of Nervousness 1. Despite nervousness, you can make it through your speech 2. Listeners are not as likely to recognize your fear as you might think 3. The better prepared you are, the better you will cope with nervousness 4. The more experience you get in speaking, the better you can cope with nervousness 5. Experienced speakers learn to channel their nervousness (Verderber 26-31) (Verderber 26-31)
