PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF TB ANALYSIS J. Caride, C. Iglesias, P. Vazquez USC – Dpto. Fisica Particulas 1

INDEX FIRST RESULTS CUT 500 ADU THE BEST RESULTS - SIGNALS RW AND RWM - RESIDUALS RW AND RWM LANGAUS FIT ALL RUN 2169 CONCLUSION 2

Analysis Chain for TB DATA READ FILES PEDESTALS CLUSTER FILTER ETA CORRECTION HITMAKER ALIGNMENT Converts.dat files to.slcio files Calculates de pedestals and noise value Searches withincurrent data matrix for clusters find seed and neighbours Two Step: 1- Calculate clusters 2 – Filter the clusters Give the value of the cluster center correcting the center of gravity position obtained with mass technique Convert a local cluster in the detector frame of reference to space point in the telescope frame of reference Finds track candidates from eta corrected high quality hits using millepede 2 CORRECT POSITION MULTILINEAR FIT Apply the Correction Position to the hits Fits multiple parameters straight lines throught telescope planes of one event. Writes all cluster, hit and track parameters to root ntuple. 3

FIRST RESULTS DETECTORHITMAP DUT H USED CHRISTIAN JULIA FILES PROBLEMS A LOT OF HITS IN 1º DETECTOR WE HAVE 1º Y 2º DETECTOR WITH SEED < 500 EXPLICATION PRAGA PEOPLE NOISE 4

SeedCluster 3x3 Cluster 5x5 PROBLEM SEED < 500 ADU 5

CUT 500 ADU AND ROI IN CENTRE ALL MATRIX 6 -DELETE PEAK < 500 ADU - CoG = FULL - SIZE CLUSTER = 5 X 5 - Take as REGION OF INTEREST (ROI) the central part of the matrix in all detector

THE BEST RESULTS WITH  BADPIXELMASKINGALGORITHM=NOISEDISTRIBUTION  COMMON MODE ALGORITHM = RWM OR RW  HITREJECTIONCUT =7  CLUSTERINGALGO = FIXEDFRAME  FFCLUSTERCUT=2.6  FFCLUSTERSIZE(X,Y)= (5,5)  FFSEEDCUT=7  INSIDEREGION = ( ALL )  SEEDMINCHARGE= ( )  CLUSTERTYPESELECTION = NXMPIXEL=3X3 [“ONLY SINGLE PIXEL”]  TELESCOPERESOLUTION = 5  CHI2XMAX=10 “ONLY RUN dat DUT H => we only have used one partition.” 7

GAUS FIT BETWEEN (-3 3) RWM 12

IS THIS FIT GOOD ? 13

WE GET SIMILAR RESULTS WITH ROW WISE AND ROW WISE MEDIAN BUT WE USE RWM IN THE NEXT SLIDES 14

CONCLUSION WE DON´T KNOW IF THE RESIDUALS ARE GOOD. WE THINK THE RESIDUALS OF DUT (D2) ARE BAD, IT IS HIGH IN X AXE 19
