Sendai Mediatheque Built in 2001 Structured by tubes and plates. Each floor designed by a different designer. Multi-purpose building includes: Library Cafe Gallery Cinema Exhibition space
Tower of Winds In the 60’s it was a concrete water tower Stewart Brand Low road & high road building Using acrylic mirrors around the tower, lights inserted between surface and aluminum panels. Computer control to man-made and natural forces: noises, wind, and seasons. In 1987 earned the Edwin Guth Memorial Award of Excellence from America's Illumination Engineering Society day night ‘86
