Class Gift: Accept the Challenge! ◦ The Class Gift Challenge is a meaningful way for seniors to challenge themselves and each other to give back to the programs and colleges at UA that have been instrumental during their time on campus. Class Gift is a tradition that continues to help improve the academic, social, and extracurricular opportunities for future Razorbacks. With the University of Arkansas receiving only about 1/3 of its budget from the state and about 1/3 from student tuition and fees, it is left with an additional 1/3 of the budget dependent on the donations and support of alumni, friends, and parents. Private support is essential to preserve the university’s academic excellence. So make this your last mark as the Class of 2010 – here is an opportunity to demonstrate your important contribution to your soon to be alma mater. How can I accept the challenge? ◦ Join the cause today! Seniors all over campus are making a gift of $20.10 or more to celebrate their graduation year. You can make your gift in honor of a professor, coach, department, or college that was instrumental during their college career and you can DESIGNATE where your gift will go. If you would like to get involved in the planning and communications of Class Gift, you can join the Class Gift Council. Also, there are several events, which you can attend, held throughout the year that help support the Glass Gift Challenge. Learn more about the Class f 2010 and its gift challenge at Remember no gift, no act of support, no positive thought is ever too small to help!

How do I become a member of the Arkansas Alumni Association? ◦ If you are a graduating senior or receiving your graduate degree, you will receive a free, one-year membership. Only one complimentary membership per person (even if multiple degrees are obtained). Look for more details on your membership throughout the year and soon after your degree is conferred. Why should I join the Arkansas Alumni Association? ◦ Stay connected! Join one of our 30+ alumni chapters nationwide, help recruit new Razorbacks, receive valuable local and national discounts, and keep up-to-date Arkansas, our monthly e- newsletter and our award-winning magazine Arkansas, which is sent to members four times a year. For a complete list of benefits, alumni chapters and associations, and events sponsored by the Alumni Association, visit:
