Presentation transcript:

Registering to SASHA The registration stage for application beings with the user selecting the ‘Profile’ button on the main menu. Registering to the application allows information to be stored, along with the user to create their own anonymous identity that they can use within the application. Christopher Anstey ( )

Login Page The user is then presented with a login form, which they can enter their username and password into if they are already a member of the SASHA application. The page also offers facilities to receive a password if the user has forgotten their password, along with a link to the registration form (selected). Christopher Anstey ( )

Registration Form The registration stage for application beings with the user selecting the ‘Profile’ button on the main menu. Registering to the application allows information to be stored, along with the user to create their own anonymous identity that they can use within the application. Christopher Anstey ( )

Entering Information When the user clicks on a field which they wish to enter information into, they will be presented with a QWERTY keyboard (displayed). Christopher Anstey ( )

Error Messages If the user enters invalid information, such as a username that is already taken, or does not correctly match the verification password, they will be presented with an error message (displayed). Christopher Anstey ( )

Buddy Icons & Background Images To enable customisation, and allow the user to build an anonymous presence within the application (eg. within the forum), they have the option of uploading a buddy icon or editing the background image used within the application. As the features are optional, if no images are selected, default images will be used. For this example the user wishes to edit the background image, therefore clicks the ‘Edit’ button. Christopher Anstey ( )

Selecting Images For both the buddy icons and background images, the user has the option of uploading a photo from their iPhone Photo Library, or using a stock image that is available within the application. In this example, the user chooses to use a ready available image. Christopher Anstey ( )

Selecting Background Image The user is then presented with all the available images that they can choose, and they click on image they wish to use. Christopher Anstey ( )

Finishing Registration If the user wishes to change the image they have selected/uploaded, they can click the respective ‘Edit’ button to return to the image selection page. They also have the option of returning to the default image for either the buddy icon or the background image by clicking the ‘Reset’ button. If the user is ready to complete the registration to the application, they click the ‘Done’ button. Christopher Anstey ( )

Tracking an Event In order to set an event which a user is anxious about, they begin by clicking ‘Event Tracking’ on the home page. Christopher Anstey ( )

Events Page If the user has not signed into/registered to the application, they will be taken to the login page (shown in Slide 2). If they are logged in, they will be shown the Events Page.Slide 2 The page uses a similar calendar to the default iPhone calendar, enabling the user to feel comfortable with the environment. To set an event to be tracked, they click on ‘Create New Event’ at the bottom of the page. Christopher Anstey ( )

Setting an Event The user is then presented with a form to enter information about the event. They begin by selecting the type of event, which they can select from a drop down list (eg. Exam, Lecture, Presentation etc). The list will also have a ‘Other’ option (see next slide). Throughout this task the user is kept aware at which step they are at in the top right corner of the page. They are also informed which field are required, and will be presented with an error message if they do not enter information. Christopher Anstey ( )

Custom Event If the user chooses ‘Other’ from the list of event, they can specify their custom event with the input box that is presented to them if they select this option. Any new custom event types (eg. speech) will be stored within the list so they can be selected for future events. Christopher Anstey ( )

Setting Event Date To set the date of the event (which will show up in the calendar), the user clicks on the date box and is presented with a dynamic tool to select their desired date. The same feature will be used for the time of the event. Christopher Anstey ( )

Setting an Event Once the user is pleased with the information they have entered, they click ‘Next’ to proceed. Christopher Anstey ( )

Anxiety Levels The user then rates their current anxiety levels out of 8, relative to the different symptoms of social anxiety. They do this by sliding the stars from left to right, the same method used for other rating tools such as in iTunes/iPod. The user also select their target levels which they wish to achieve by the time of the event they are anxious about. Christopher Anstey ( )

Setting Reminders To track their progress, the user can set reminders to update their current anxiety levels. They can use the drop down list to select the occurrence of the reminder (eg. daily, every 3 days etc). The user also specifies the time they wish to be reminded. The user has the option of setting an alarm for the reminder, which if they select as ‘On’ can preview and select a tone for the alarm. Christopher Anstey ( )

Events Page Once the event has been set, it shows up in red on the calendar, allowing the user to see how long they have until the event. A list of events that are being tracked are displayed under the calendar, along with the location of the event (which they set while setting the event). The user can click on the event at any time to see their progress, and receive relevant advice. Christopher Anstey ( )

Reminder Notification The user is given a notification (with vibration and alarm if they have set it) displaying the time left for an event they are tracking their progress of, and a message to update their current anxiety levels. Christopher Anstey ( )

Menu Notification Within the iPhone menu, a notification (standard iPhone style) will be presented on the logo of the application, informing the user of an outstanding task (eg. updating anxiety levels). Christopher Anstey ( )

Home Notification The same notification style is used within the menu of the home page of the SASHA application. This could be a notification for a message received in the Sharing area of the application, but in this example it is a reminder to update the users current anxiety levels. Christopher Anstey ( )

Events Page The user clicks on the event which they are going to update their current anxiety levels of. The notification symbol is located above the event and there may several events that have been set, which not all of require the user to update their current anxiety levels. Christopher Anstey ( )

Current Anxiety Levels The user sets their current anxiety levels in the same way as they did when they set their initial and target anxiety levels, when they set up the event they are tracking. They then click on the ‘Next’ button to proceed. Christopher Anstey ( )

Progress After setting their current levels, the user is presented with their progress, comparing their current levels against their target levels, seeing how far they are away from their goal. They are also given the option to receive relevant advice to help them achieve their targets. If the user selects ‘No’, they are taken back to the home page of the application, either way their current anxiety levels have been stored. Christopher Anstey ( )

Relative Advice If the user chooses to receive tailored advice in order to help achieve their target levels, they are taken to the advice section of the application. Using the highest current anxiety levels (the user set high levels for ‘Feelings’ and ‘Behaviours’), the application generates relative advice and procedures to help the user relax. In this example the user wishes to view some Stretching Exercises. Christopher Anstey ( )

Advice Page The user is presented with a piece of media (eg. image, video etc) and supporting text for directions. In this example the user can view a video showing them how to carry out certain stretching exercises. If the user wishes to view further stretching exercises, they can select ‘More’, or click ‘Back’ to return to the tailored advice to choose another method. Christopher Anstey ( )
