Current Law Academic Cost Accounting Report (Uniform Reporting) produces a remediation report every other year. – 2010 Total Remediation Expenditures $84,585,183 Indirect and Direct expenditures and revenues are reported.

New Legislation Act 696 amends to require an annual cost of remediation report to include: Institutional revenue spent on remediation Total General Revenue subsidy spent on remediation Total institutional expenditures for remediation General Revenue percent of total remediation expenditures Annual Remediation Report will be done in conjunction with Academic Cost Accounting Report.

Where to start? Form a committee to determine methodology: – Adapt report from current Academic Cost Accounting Program – Review Legislative Bureau Survey (Fall 2010) – Use what other states have done if applicable – Start from scratch

Goals of Annual Report It is important that we strive for uniformity while implementing this report. By doing so, we will ensure that a more accurate and informative report is produced.
