SUNY Institutional Research 2 Public Higher Education Empowerment & Innovation Act If passed, most significant legislation since Rockefeller created SUNY Authorizes Trustees to set differential tuition rates at SO campuses –Between campuses/sectors –Between academic programs Eliminates regulation in many areas –But requires more detail revenue & expenditure reporting
