Introduction There has been some early Office 2010 adoption, but not a lot. Office 2010 has not yet been deployed to managed workstations but it will be in the Winter 2011 term. In this seminar you will learn about what’s new in Office Other topics will include licensing, user experiences to date, training, and compatibility with our corporate applications. What’s Not Different The file format in Office 2010 is the same as it was in Office The basics on how you use an Office application is the same so clients don’t need to learn from scratch (similar to our Office 2002 to Office 2007 migration 2010 | The Sky’s the Limit
Common Enhancements in all Office 2010 Applications The “File” menu is back with new options. Now called “backstage area”. The ribbon can be customized –Change order of tabs –Add new groups in a ribbon –Add functions to an existing group Paste preview Some graphic editing capability 2010 | The Sky’s the Limit
