About Administration Requirements/ Processes Particulars Master of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board (AB) u The AB interacts with deans and the coordinating board regarding: v Emerging technical education needs. v Student access to Master of Engineering educational offerings. v Facilitation of faculty/industry partnerships for curricular and course development and student project advising. v Recruitment of students. v Resource development to promote and maintain the program.
About Administration Requirements/ Processes Particulars Master of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board (AB) (continued) u AB members serve as advocates for the program: v Within their industrial communities and particularly within their organizations v When necessary and appropriate, to the Universities, the Arizona Board of Regents, and the State legislature u AB members attend two to three meetings annually in order to: v Be apprised of the status of the program v Provide strategic advice regarding its evolution

About Administration Requirements/ Processes Particulars Admission Requirements u Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a suitable background for the desired field of study v Transcripts must be provided u A minimum grade point average of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) v Last 60 units of the undergraduate transcript or v Last 12 units of the post-baccalaureate transcript u GRE may be required by some academic units. u Admission, or provisional admission, decision at discretion of campus
About Administration Requirements/ Processes Particulars Admission Process u Choose “home institution” (ASU, NAU or UA) u Submit application to Graduate College at preferred home institution (either ASU, NAU or UA) u Submit supplemental application to the Tri-University program v Master of Engineering program application form v Statement of career objectives/goals v 3 letters of recommendation
About Administration Requirements/ Processes Particulars Degree Requirements u Complete a total of 30 units of coursework v 3 units in each of two areas: engineering math and business/management v Option for up to 6 units of a practice-oriented project v Half of all coursework, excluding the project, must be in engineering u Pass a final examination as determined by the faculty advisory committee
