Each card should contain: Title Border Graphics/Images May have video and/or sound Content expressed in text

Content Research Pull information together Appropriate sized amounts on each page “Chunking” Graphics complement content Sounds and/or video complement content

Consistency Focus on a consistent style Keep transitions the same through out the presentation Ask yourself, “Do all components have a purpose and point to the content?”

Creativity Everything has a purpose and points to the content Animations and graphics point to content Graphics may be used as background

White Space White space, or breathing room between elements on the card is needed for the content to be communicated effectively. A page of text without a border of white space is difficult to read; focusing on the important parts you want to share.

White Space When a card has breathing room between the elements on card the reader focuses on the content. A slide filled with text, but no white space is hard to read.

Contrast Color contrast between background and elements seen without strain Tex and background color should have a high contrast Light on dark Dark on light
