CT30A SYMBIAN PROGRAMMING Course Arrangements

Lectures and exercises Not compulsory but strongly recommended if no prior knowledge/experience of Symbian Fridays 13/03 and 20/03 at 10–18 Saturdays 14/03 and 21/03 at 9–17 Guidance for the practical assignment on Saturday 28/03 at 9–17 Lectures and exercises are combined Lectures compose of modules Exercises after each module

Prerequisites Basics of object oriented programming Basics of C++

Grading Exam ( ) 50 %, graded 0 – 5 Practical assignment 50 %, graded 0 – 5 Atleast grade 1 required from both the exam and the assignment in order to pass the course

Practical assignment Done in groups of 2 Only a well justified reason for exceptions Filling the missing implementation of the given application skeleton Own topics possible, but have to be approved by the lecturer(s), simplicity is a virtue Brief written report describing the implementation Deadline No assignments accepted after the deadline Failure to meet the deadline will result in failing the course
