SP76 Components List Unveiling a web based SP76 Component List 16 categories, ~80 component categories Need help from our vendor community to populate this matrix by providing web links. Goal: minimum management by CPAC

Gen I SP76 Component Availability Projected

Bigger Substrate? Do we need an additional and larger “SP76” standard defined to accommodate certain liquid applications? (eg. for “dirtier” effluent water as well as reduce pressure drops when handling higher viscosity oils) [10] – R. Dubois -Is a bigger substrate needed? –today most substrates are equiv. to ¼” heavy walled tubing; would a ½” (pipe) equivalent be an appropriate “step” solution? –is smart instrumentation the solution? (acoutic sensors) -constraint appears to be the component internal channel. Is any one making components with larger internal porting to overcome this? -Other possibilities: discrete systems?

SAM Connectivity to legacy equipment Jeff Gunnell [15 min] Jeff will propose methods for hooking a legacy system to a Sensor Actuator Manager (SAM) connected to a smart sample system. Scenarios will include an existing oxygen analyzer, an oxygen analyzer mounted on the SP76 substrate and a legacy/proprietary GC system. Jeff will also look at connectivity with the new generation of Ethernet based analyzer data systems

Sensor Actuator Manager Functionality John Mosher, Honeywell Sensing & Control Review of the SAM functionality (5 functions) What additional functionality could you see for SAM? SAM hardware/software proposed by Honeywell (Assuming we had adequate bandwidth) how would we implement a microAnalytical data collection and control system into NeSSI? –what should be in the analytical device? –what should be in the SAM? –what is handled off NeSSI?
