Location Lake Huron is located on the east side of the state. It is below Lake Superior

Location Huron receives the flow from both Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.

Size Lake Superior is the second largest Great Lake. LENGTH: 206 miles AVERAGE DEPTH: 195 ft.

Visual The Lake Huron basin is heavily forested, not very populated, and scenically beautiful.

Name French discoverers first named the lake La Mer Douce, the sweet or fresh-water sea.
