Why you should go! Looking for internship / job Gathering information Making connections Familiarizing yourself with Career Fairs

Before the Career Fair Define your goals Research the companies attending – Mustang Jobs Select few companies to talk to Prepare some questions Prepare a solid résumé Prepare professional attire Prepare to talk about your projects / experience Learn interview skills

During the Career Fair Communicate effectively – Make eye contact – Shake hands – Smile – Make appropriate small talk (if fitting) – Speak clearly and audibly (with confidence) – Watch posture Introduce yourself, focus on your strengths & goals – How can you benefit the company? Ask your prepared questions Ask for a follow up Get a business card
