Presenting Information  Presenting information on the screen depends on the kind of information e.g. Text, Numbers, Maps, Table.  Different purposes require different representations e.g. when searching for a file.  Technology and Skills available.

Interface  A pretty interface is not necessarily a good interface.  Consistency in layout.  Overuse of colours can be distracting
