See Close enough to see (10 –15m) - proximity gives credibility Not too close so as to get caught up or miss the whole picture Side – on positioning for heading duels Anticipation - where is my next likely problem?

Recognise Player’s eyes / body language Was the physical contact acceptable or unacceptable Was it one a penal offences (or an indirect offence)

Think Time to consider next action How serious (Careless / Reckless / Excessive Force) Advantage etc.
