The RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ St. FX Eucharistic Prayer II

Gathering Song: ALL STAND “Angels” Lyrics   Spend all your time waiting For that second chance For a break that would make it okay There’s always one reason To feel not good enough And it’s hard at the end of the day I need some distraction Oh beautiful release Memory seeps from my veins Let me be empty And weightless and maybe I’ll find some peace tonight

Chorus: In the arms of an angel Fly away from here From this dark cold hotel room And the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage Of your silent reverie You’re in the arms of the angel May you find some comfort there So tired of the straight line And everywhere you turn There’s vultures and thieves at your back And the storm keeps on twisting You keep on building the lie That you make up for all that you lack It don’t make no difference Escaping one last time It’s easier to believe in this sweet madness oh This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

Chorus: In the arms of an angel Fly away from here From this dark cold hotel room And the endlessness that you fear You are pulled from the wreckage Of your silent reverie You’re in the arms of the angel May you find some comfort there You’re in the arms of the angel May you find some comfort here

Song for the Presentation and Preparation of the Gifts: “Temporary Home” Lyrics Little boy, six years old A little too used to being alone Another new mom and dad, another school Another house that’ll never be home When people ask him how he likes this place He looks up and says with a smile upon his face

Chorus: This is my temporary home It’s not where I belong Windows and rooms that I’m passing through This is just a stop on the way to where I’m going I’m not afraid because I know This is my temporary home Mmmmm A young mom on her own She needs a little help, got nowhere to go She’s looking for a job, looking for a way out ‘Cause a half-way house will never be a home At night she whispers to her baby girl Someday we’ll find our place here in this world

Chorus: This is my temporary home It’s not where I belong Windows and rooms that I’m passing through This is just a stop on the way to where I’m going I’m not afraid because I know This is my temporary home Mmmmm Old man, hospital bed The room is filled with people he loves And he whispers, “don’t cry for me, I’ll see you all someday” He looks up and says, “I can see God’s face”

Priest: Pray, friends, that our sacrifice may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father. All: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good, and the good of all his Church.

Somewhere over the Rainbow Song for Communion Somewhere over the Rainbow

"Somewhere Over The Rainbow" Lyrics When all the clouds darken up the skyway There's a rainbow highway to be found Leading from your window pain To a place behind the sun Just a step beyond the rain Somewhere over the rainbow Way up high There's a land that I heard of Once in a lullaby Someday I'll wish upon a star And wake up where the clouds are far behind me Where troubles melt lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me Somewhere over the rainbow Bluebirds fly Birds fly over the rainbow Why then oh why can't I If happy little bluebirds fly Beyond the rainbow Why, oh, why can't I
