DANIEL 7:15-28 The interpretation Revelation ended 4 beasts Saints 4th beast 10 horns Little horn All kingdoms under heaven given to saints Revelation ended 1. The interpretation - Daniel still distressed; asks a bystander the meaning ● 4 beasts = 4 kings who will arise from the earth (kingdoms v24) ● Saints will receive the kingdom & possess it forever (ages to come) ● 4th beast = 4th kingdom, different from all others, devour & crush earth ● 10 horn = 10 kings from that kingdom (consecutive or simultaneous rule?) ● Little horn = King after 10 (different), Will subdue 3 of the 10 kings (simultaneous rule) ○ Blasphemy ○ Wear out the saints, persecution ○ New morality - alterations in times and law ○ Will win for a limited time - time, times, ½ time (x, 2x, ½x) His dominion will be taken away, destroyed forever In favor of the saints of the highest one 1 Cor 6:2 - Saints will judge the world ● All kingdoms under heaven given to saints Saints/holy ones - same word as applied to angelic watcher (Dan 4:17) Dominion & greatness given to the people of the saints of the highest one Or a grammatical change - “the people, the saints of the highest one” All dominions will serve and obey Him 2. Revelation ended - Alarmed Daniel (pale face), kept matter to himself

QUESTIONS 1. In what ways is God specifically in control in this chapter? Daniel is allowed to see the vision, he is given the interpretation, God gives the son of man an everlasting kingdom and punishes the beasts.
