Wellfleet Harbor - basic info and background: Very shallow area: see bathymetry map (slide 8) Benthic substrate includes sand, gravel, mud and SAV (slide 9); Historically has been used for shellfishing and for aquaculture (American Oyster (Crassostrea virginica), Quahog (Mercenaria mercenaria), Soft shell clam (Mya arenaria), and Bay Scallop (Agropectin irradians)

Selected five sites/areas will be used for four planned activities: Middle Meadows Blackfish Creek Loagy Bay Creek North of Audubon Sanctuary Western Flats of Lieutenant Island

Your task is to: 1.Based on the very basic environmental and socio- economic assessments of the Wellfleet Harbor area explain and justify where would you place four activities and how did you decide for which activity each site would be suitable for; 2.Design your suggested management plan and potential scenario by using given maps to place your uses; 3.What type of indicators would you use to monitor and evaluate your suggested management plan? (select 4 for environmental and 4 socio-economic aspects of evaluation and monitoring) 4.Please cite if you use web information and related references!!!! 5.Your final exam should not be longer than 3 pages.
