 Grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois  Graduated from Yale Law in 1973 where she met Bill Clinton, her husband.  Accomplished Lawyer and a strong advocate for Children’s rights.  First Lady from 1993 – 2001  She became a senator January 2001  She campaigned to become the Democratic Presidential Nominee against Barack Obama in 2008  Answer the question: Why did you choose this person as a role model?  I picked Hillary Clinton as a role model because she is an example of how women can lead just as well as men can in political offices. She is an advocate for kids and for health care reform and consistently shows her strength in her actions.

 First solo album was released in  2004 she won 5 Grammy Awards.  At the age of 9 she formed a singing group that would later be known as Destiny’s Child.  Answer the question: I think of Beyonce as a role model because she has been successful in her solo music career and has expanded into the clothing industry with the launch of her Dereon clothing line. She is a positive role model for women and young girls. She has worked hard to gain the success she has.
