Integration of surround sound into Processing Supervisor/Client : Dr. Henry Gardner By : Isaac Pek

:: Objectives of project :: 1.Enable Processing’s runtime windows to be displayed on both screens of the Wedge theatre. 2.Configure systems to run an environment programming language for audio synthesis – Supercollider. 3.Explore methods to develop a surround sound environment within Processing through JSyn.

:: Motivation :: 1.Take full advantage of Wedge theatre’s dual-screen capability and provide for an immersive 3D experience. 2.Allow for enhanced collaboration between the Centre for New Media Arts and the Department of Computer Science. 3.Include surround-sound (8-speaker configuration) within Processing.
