SLIDE-25 ADVANTAGES OF THE PROPOSED PROGRAM l Addition of 1 Hour for EE 409 & ICS 101 each. l Strengthen math and physics contents of the program. l Linear systems concepts are presented in EE 2xx. l A New course that covers probabilistic methods in electrical engineering EE 315 l New CIM elective. l Reduction of # Labs by 2 Labs. l New courses will emphasize design concepts & use of computers. l Satisfies the latest ABET requirements. l New electives to follow recent developments.
SLIDE-26 IMPLEMENTATION PLAN (Assuming the new curriculum is introduced in (961) l Students graduate according to the curriculum they enter by total credit hours. l EE 202 (old & new) will run in parallel for approx. 2 years. l EE 300 level courses are offered as per new description. l Old students are advised to take MATH 3xx as Tech. elective before taking EE 340, 380. l Offer MATH 3xx as MATH elective for old students. l All EE electives are to be offered according to new curriculum. l EE 315 is to be offered from (961). All students can take it instead of STAT 315. l New EE 202, 205 will be offered starting (972).
