To know …. Jo! Jo’s role consists of developing the sustainability strategy for the University, developing and implementing University wide environmental and sustainability policies and management systems. This includes improving the University’s sustainability, biodiversity, procurement, waste management, transport and construction techniques. She also provides education and awareness in these areas, improving the integration of good environmental management practice into everything we do. Jo Hasbury Sustainability Manager

It’s Better OFF …To know Greg! Greg provides strategic management of the University’s energy and water consumption and also has overall responsibility for the development and delivery of the University’s carbon management programme and the It’s Better Off campaign. Greg Watts Energy Manager

It’s Better OFF …To know Jenny! Jenny provides assistance to the Energy Manager in the delivery, implementation and reporting of the University’s carbon management programme. This includes maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of utility consumption and expenditure and works closely with departments across the campus to increase levels of energy and environmental awareness Jenny Turner Energy Technician

Chris's role involves talking, educating and motivating students and staff on sustainability issues such as recycling and energy saving both in accommodation and in the workplace. Chris has played a key role in many projects including the Falkner & Eggington composting facility, the red and green bag recycling system, Accelerated composting and National Forest Spring Water. It’s Better OFF …To know Carole! Carole's role involves looking at ways to improve the part that we all need play in the University’s efforts in improving its waste management by increasing recycling and reduce the waste that goes to landfill. The University currently recycles Paper, Plastic, Cans, Cardboard, wood, Electrical equipment, Computers and Printer Cartridges.
